Availability
Softbound is live on Google Play. Open the app listing at Google Play to install. Product details are also available on the product page.
Supported books
Softbound is built for DRM-free EPUB books. Store-protected books and other file formats are outside the currently documented support scope.
Accounts and data
No account is required. Books, library organization, ratings, reading position, highlights, notes, and statistics stay inside the app on the reader's device. Android backup and device transfer are disabled, so uninstalling Softbound or losing the device can remove this data. See the Softbound Privacy Policy for the current details.
Online lookups
Metadata and cover searches contact Open Library only when requested. Dictionary lookups send the selected word to dictionaryapi.dev. The Softbound Privacy Policy explains these requests and the services involved.
